Alcohol & Drug Testing

Many employers require a drug or alcohol test before hiring, after an accident or at random. At Clínica Hispana Mangum we do the test with no appointment, discreetly, and give you documentation of the result for your employer or paperwork.

Which tests do we do?

• Urine drug test, with panels that often include marijuana, cocaine, amphetamines, opioids and other substances. The panel depends on what your employer requests.
• Alcohol test.

What should I bring?

1. A current photo ID; without it the sample cannot be collected.
2. Your employer's form or order, if you were given one.
3. A list of the prescription medications you take.

How the sample is collected

• Your identity is verified and the sample is logged so it cannot be mixed up.
• You give the urine sample in private, following staff instructions.
• The container is sealed in front of you.

Tips to avoid a retest

• Do not drink large amounts of water beforehand: a very diluted sample may be rejected.
• Tell us about prescription medications, such as some for pain, anxiety or ADHD, which can test positive.
• Arrive needing to urinate.

Tests under DOT rules

If your employer requires a test under Department of Transportation rules, tell us when you call so we can confirm the procedure. It is separate from the DOT physical.
